Paint Correction

Paint correction is an auto detailing procedure that removes hazing, minor scratches, marring, swirl marks, and other blemishes on the vehicle's clear coat. It does this by using specialized machines and polishing compounds to slowly remove microscopic layers of clear coat until the surface is smooth again.

Top Coat

Top Coat is a protective top-coating that lasts up to three years. With a high gloss finish, hydrophobic effect, chemical resistance, thermal resistance, and anti-graffiti effect, it’s usually applied on top of the Ceramic Coating to improve its gloss and hydrophobic effects.

Rim Faces Coat

Rim Face Coat, is built for industrial applications. It chemically binds to the surface that protects from water, grease and other stains. Once applied, the surface is resistant to UV rays, solvents, acids, bases and chemicals.

Window Coat

Window Coat is a coating made specifically for glass. It repels dirt and improves water beading and visibility by repelling water and encouraging it to flow smoothly right off of the glass. Unlike Rain-X which typically lasts a couple of months, automotive applications last for up to a year, with much-improved snow and ice removal during the winter months. In commercial applications, this coating last up to five years.

Paint Protection Coat

Paint Protection Coat is a nanoceramic coating that is applied on top of the Paint Correction, forming a permanent bond with the primed surface that will not wash off or break down. It can be applied in multiple layers in order to make an even harder coating that improves scratch resistance.

Paint Protection Coat offers:

  • Permanent protection

  • Scratch resistance (Above 9H)

  • Superhydrophobic effect

  • Weather UV resistance

  • Thermal resistance (up to 1200C)

  • Anti-Graffiti

  • Advanced chemical resistance

  • Oxidation and corrosion resistance

  • High gloss finish

  • Why do I see bubbles forming in the tint immediately after installation?
Sometimes after tint installation, water spots (bubbles) may be visible for up to a week. The warmer the weather the faster that water will evaporate. If bubbles do appear after tint installation, wait a few days as they typically disappear over time as the tint film settles and adheres to the window surface more securely.
  • How long does the window tinting process take?
Amongst other services we offer here at Pureauto, we have been installing window tint for over 15 years. It typically takes us no longer than 1 hour to professionally install your window tint. Yes, you can wait in our waiting room while we install your tint.
  • Do cops care about my tints?
The legal limit for Ontario is nothing darker than 30% on the front side windows only. There’s no limit for the rear windows. For our BC clients, you’re not allowed any tint of front side windows, and the rear can be as dark as you'd like.
  • Is it okay to install tint in cold weather?
Yes, as long as the film is installed in a temperature-controlled facility. We keep our facilities at 20C or higher. The warmer the shop the faster the film will cure. We take all measures possible to ensure a perfect tint job every single time.
  • What are the benefits of window tint?
Some of the many benefits of window tinting include privacy, UV protection, heat reduction, glare reduction, shatter resistance, enhanced aesthetics, and more. Overall, window tinting provides a range of practical benefits, including improved comfort, safety, privacy, and aesthetics, making it a popular choice for vehicle owners
  • Do I have to wash my car before getting window tints?
If you’re installing the window tint on your own, we would highly recommend having a clean car. However, when you come to Pureauto we take care of everything from start to finish.
  • What’s the best way to maintain PPF?
The absolute best way is to wash the car by hand or at least without any abrasive chemicals that automatic car washes use.
  • Can I take my car through an automatic car wash if I have PPF installed on my vehicle?
Yes, you can. However, you will decrease the longevity of the film and some edges might slightly lift due to the pressure of the water being sprayed throughout the car. Generally, we recommend handwash as a safe alternative.
  • What is PPF and how does it enhance vehicles esthetic and protection?
Paint protection film (PPF) is a transparent, self-healing thermoplastic urethane film applied to a vehicle's painted panels to shield it from stone chips, bug splatter, scratches, and other minor abrasions. It forms a protective barrier between the paint surface and external elements, allowing the original paint color and finish to remain visible.
  • How long have you been installing Paint Protection Film (PPF)?
We have wrapped thousands of cars and have been installing PPF films since 2008. You can shop at PUREAUTO with confidence.
  • What PPF films do you use?
Our main brand is XPEL. We mostly use their Fusion line which is Ceramic Coated and has a 10-year warranty.
  • Can I apply PPF on any vehicle?
Yes. The paint protection film (PPF) will adhere to any part of the vehicle that has a smooth surface.
  • What's the purpose of ceramic coatings?
Ceramic coatings provide a protective layer over the car's paintwork, acting as a barrier against various environmental contaminants and hazards. This can include UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, acid rain, road salt, and other pollutants that can cause paint damage or corrosion over time
  • How long does it take to apply ceramic coating on my car?
Applying ceramic coating takes anywhere between 3-10 hours depending on a variety of factors. For the best curing outcome, we recommend leaving the car overnight in our heated garage.
  • Should I use ceramic coating on my brand new car?
Using ceramic coating on a brand new car is a very beneficial investment, as it can provide immediate protection and help maintain the vehicle's appearance and resale value over time. For maintaining that new car shine and for immediate protection you should definitely apply ceramic coating to your brand new car.
  • How long will ceramic coating last on my car?
The longevity of ceramic coatings on cars can vary based on several factors, including the quality of the coating product, the preparation and application process, and the maintenance and care provided to the vehicle. Generally speaking, a professionally applied ceramic coating can last 5+ years. We also have an application process that lasts a lifetime.
